Our Uninvited Houseguests: A Sarcastic Sneak-Peek at Illegal Immigration

Let me begin by sounding absolutely thunderstruck and ridiculously sarcastic. So, here it comes; Hold on to your horses, people, because apparently, this little birdie told me some mind-blowing news today about the idea of removing illegal immigrants from our beloved country. And very shockingly, it was suggested that we should give priority to removing the violent criminals first. Genius, right? Who could have thought about that before?

But oh wait! The same birdie also hinted that our ever-so-logical Supreme Court, along with the oh-so-efficient lower courts, seems to be bitterly against this idea. Now why would they be? Well, by using some form of mind-boggling legal and moral calculus, their argument’s core sits on the thought that this cannot be executed without trial. Really? You’ve got to be kidding me.

Now, I’m not by any means advocating for mob justice, but if we went on to following this path, thinking practically, we would be looking at roughly 200 years of court time and spending more money than Scrooge McDuck’s entire fortune. (And for those needing real numbers: the average deportation costs $10,000–$15,000 per person. Multiply that by a few million and suddenly we’re burning through your grandkids’ lunch money.)

Imagine coming home from one of your tiresome days to find some stranger’s car parked in your driveway, only to realize they’ve moved into your garage as well. These people may not have anywhere else to go, and yes, your bleeding heart might understand why they did it. But no matter how Mother Theresa-like you are, let’s face reality – you can’t just ignore it forever! At some point, it starts affecting your life, and you HAVE to take action. Sure, be compassionate — people want safety and a future — but don’t forget your boundaries.

On second thought, maybe our courts should just try wearing their robes on their heads instead of their asses, because clearly, the present position isn’t helping them see clearly. If someone doesn’t belong here, they don’t, and that is all there is to it, especially if they are violent, known criminals.

And then you have the Left, oh the great Left. It seems their battle has less to do with their love for illegal immigrants and more to do with their hatred for Donald Trump. Because, in their world, if Trump says the sky is blue, they’ll argue that it’s green. If Trump wants to throw out criminals (which, by the way, any sane person should agree with), they’ll build an argument as to why we should feed them, protect them, let them suck our resources dry… because Trump said so! Raise your hand if you see the absurdity, or am I the only one?

Well, dear readers, today’s dose of sarcasm has allowed me to vent out some raw emotions about lax immigration laws and dubious court decisions hampering the well-being of our country. It’s not about being heartless, it’s about being practical. And maybe, just maybe, if our Supreme Court and the Left can resist their urge to thumb their noses at Trump, we can get down to doing what’s right.

Until common sense makes a comeback, I’ll be here, ranting from my garage — which, I’m proud to say, still only houses my lawnmower and my rage.
