The T-Shirt Was Carrying About Ten Other T-Shirts
A Cuyahoga Falls employee reported an unusual way to carry unpaid merchandise out of a store. The merchandise was also T-shirts.

An employee at a Cuyahoga Falls store reported that a man left with about ten plain white T-shirts tucked under the T-shirt he was wearing.
The T-shirt was the shopping bag. We are already deep into shirts.
According to the Falls Free Press police blotter, officers responded on October 2, 2026, to a business in the 600 block of Howe Avenue. An employee said an unknown man took approximately ten shirts priced at $3.29 each and left without paying.
Three dollars and twenty-nine cents per shirt. If the employee’s estimate was right, that’s around $33 in plain white T-shirts. The shirts weren’t expensive. The storage system was what caught my attention.
Most people, faced with more shirts than they can comfortably carry, would look for a bag. This report describes a man using a shirt he already had to transport the shirts he hadn’t paid for. It’s a nesting doll, if every doll came from the basics aisle.
Then there’s the store’s response. The employee said the business wanted the man trespassed, but did not wish to prosecute the reported theft. No long campaign over ten white T-shirts. Just: please don’t come back.
The blotter doesn’t say whether officers found the man, issued a trespass warning, or recovered the shirts. That’s where the account ends.
One T-shirt went in. About ten more reportedly went under it. I would’ve thought the shirt was already doing enough.
